My family has been coming each summer to Twain Harte for over 50 years! My mom grew up coming for 2-3 months every summer, I grew up spending several weeks each summer and now I have the pleasure of coming up with Joe and Felix and doing the same things I did as a child.

A typical day in Twain Harte includes:

Walking into the tiny town for a bit of exercise and a cup of coffee

Spending the day at the lake
Coming home for lunch and a nap
Maybe going back to the lake or playing a round of mini golf
Dinner at the cabin or at my favorite place in town, The Prospector
Back to the cabin and in bed for a long restful night of sleep

So you can see the days are filled with leisure and fun and lots of rest!

We just got back and I have a few photos to share, we enjoyed two excellent meals with Ruth and Robert at the Prospector and lots of good times with my mom and grandmother. It was like having a nanny on vacation with us, truly restful!

I am so grateful to have this place to vacation and to spend time with family! And plus, Joe and I even had a date one night!
