Wild Food & Medicinal Herb CSA

The Wild Food & Medicinal Herb CSA (Community Supported Awareness) provides hands-on education for those who want to connect more intimately with their local landscapes and move towards more sustainable practices with respect to food and medicine. CSA participants will:

• learn how to safely use abundant local plants for food and medicine
• experience their local bioregion more intimately
• join a greater community to share knowledge about ethical wildcrafting

Schedule
There are six distributions, every other week, from April 7 to June 9, at In the Kitchen in Nevada City.  The distribution schedule is as follows:

April 7, 4:30pm – 6:30pm Introduction to wild food & herbal medicine, plus 1st CSA distribution

The following distributions and hands-on processing sessions meet from 5:15pm – 6:15pm
April 21
May 5
May 19
June 2
June 9 (this meeting will be extended to include an end-of-season wild food potluck!)
